Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) is one of the biggest initiatives undertaken by the Government of India. It's main purpose – to provide food security to the people and to end hunger in India. अंत्योदय अन्न योजना (एएवाई) भारत सरकार द्वारा की गई सबसे बड़ी पहलों में से एक है। इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य - लोगों को खाद्य सुरक्षा प्रदान करना और भारत में भुखमरी को समाप्त करना है।
It covers the poorest of the poor in our country through the supply of food and essential commodities for their daily needs at subsidized rates. It also aims towards popularization and strengthening of TPDS – Target Public Distribution System. यह रियायती दरों पर उनकी दैनिक जरूरतों के लिए भोजन और आवश्यक वस्तुओं की आपूर्ति के माध्यम से हमारे देश के सबसे गरीब लोगों को शामिल करता है। इसका उद्देश्य टीपीडीएस - लक्ष्य सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली को लोकप्रिय बनाना और मजबूत करना भी है।
Launched in December 2000, the AAY scheme targeted more than 1 cr low income families in India. दिसंबर 2000 में शुरू की गई, AAY योजना ने भारत में 1 करोड़ से अधिक कम आय वाले परिवारों को लक्षित किया।
It was first implemented in the Rajasthan state. As per this initiative, wheat is provided at ₹3 per kg, rice for ₹2 per kg. The eligible families will get 35 kg of rice every month. Families which come under this section can buy 1 kg of sugar at a rate of Rs 18.50 per kg through ration shops. इसे सबसे पहले राजस्थान राज्य में लागू किया गया था। इस पहल के तहत, गेहूं ₹3 प्रति किलो, चावल ₹2 प्रति किलो की दर से प्रदान किया जाता है। पात्र परिवारों को हर महीने 35 किलो चावल मिलेगा। इस धारा के अंतर्गत आने वाले परिवार राशन की दुकानों से 1 किलो चीनी 18.50 रुपये प्रति किलो की दर से खरीद सकते हैंI
The beneficiaries of the AAY are identified by the Central and State Government of India. Once the identification is done, different coloured ration cards will be given to AAY families. The authorities roughly allocate around 8.51 lakh tons of food grains every month. AAY के लाभार्थियों की पहचान भारत की केंद्र और राज्य सरकार द्वारा की जाती है। एक बार पहचान हो जाने के बाद, एएवाई परिवारों को अलग-अलग रंग के राशन कार्ड दिए जाएंगे। अधिकारी मोटे तौर पर हर महीने लगभग 8.51 लाख टन खाद्यान्न आवंटित करते हैं।
